Timothy “Tim” Moore, 62, a longtime Halfway resident, died Sept. 7, 2012, at St. Alphonsus Medical Center-Baker City. A wake in his honor will be scheduled next summer in Halfway.
Tim went to school in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1969. He learned to lay carpet following high school and it was a trade that he worked at throughout his life. After high school he lived in the San Francisco area. When he moved back to Boise, he met and married Tracy in 1980 and in that marriage brought stepson, Jason. In 1986, Keith was born.
During Tim’s life he worked as a carpet layer, worked in the mines in Jordan Valley and in the Halfway area at the Bonnanza Mine, and until his retirement he worked for Bud LaRue.
Hobbies in Tim’s youth were camping, fishing and hunting. Later in life he enjoyed watching football, his favorite teams being the Chiefs and the Raiders.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Betty Moore, and his wife, Tracy.
He is survived by his son, Keith Moore of Halfway; his stepson, Jason Dyami of Nampa; his sisters, Mary Moore of Waldport and Kathy Fitch of Kihei, Hawaii.
