Tanner Eli Davis, 17, of Baker City, died Sept. 13, 2012, at his home.
There will be a memorial gathering from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Coles Tribute Center, 1950 Place St.
Tanner was born on Feb. 9, 1995, in Roseburg to Ted and Karrie Davis. Tanner attended Baker High School and his hobbies including skiing, soccer, hunting, reading, and spending time with his friends.
Tanner’s greatest accomplishment was adopting a pit bull from the shelter and training her through Level 1 and 2 Practical Dog Solutions tests. His goal for his dog was for her to become a service dog.
Tanner is survived by his father, Ted Davis of Baker City; his mother, Karrie Davis of Wilcox, Ariz., his sister, Selia Davis of Wilcox; his grandmother, Judethe Hill of Roseburg; and various other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
