BINAM, Gladys

BEND – Gladys Binam, 69, formerly of Grant County, died Sept. 23 in Bend, after a long struggle against cancer, with her daughter, Barbi, at her side. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no memorial or service. Mrs. Binam was born May 30, 1945, in Burns. She attended Prairie City High School, and graduated from Burns High School. Her family lived in the John Day and Prairie City area from the mid 1960s to the mid 1970s. Survivors include her daughters, Kim Weston and Barbi Weems; grandchildren, Corey and Megan Doser, and Kaitlan and Hannah Weems; and great-granddaughter, Zoe Weems. In lieu of flowers, condolences to the family or donations for her headstone are requested. Arrangements are under the care of Deschutes Memorial Chapel and Gardens, 63875 N.
