WRIGHT, Ronald

Ronald Wright, 67, died Oct. 3 at his Prairie City home. Services are pending. Mr. Wright was born April 25, 1947, in Baker City, to Guy and Emiline (Zemmer) Wright. He graduated from Prairie City High School, and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He spent most of his working years in local sawmills. On Aug. 18, 2014, he married Charlette Marie Holcomb in Canyon City. He was a true outdoorsman; fishing was his favorite hobby. Survivors include his wife, Charlette Wright of Prairie City; son, Jeff (Ernani) Wright of Boise, Idaho; brother, Gary (Diane) Wright of Prairie City; nephews, Kip Wright of Boise and Kelsy (Shanna) Wright of John Day; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Emiline Wright. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Mountain Hospice through Driskill Memorial Chapel, 241 S.
