KAVANAUGH, Adeline

Adeline Kavanaugh, 93, died Sept. 15, at her John Day home. No public services are planned at this time. Mrs. Kavanaugh was born Jan. 11, 1921, in South Dakota, to Chester and Jesse Warren. As an adult she spent time as a waitress and a homemaker. She enjoyed horses, family gatherings and caring for her pets. Survivors include her brother, Raymond Warren; sister, Mickey Reynolds; grandsons, Joe Bennett of John Day, Wes Bennett of Aberdeen, Wash., and Larry Bennett of Mt. Vernon; granddaughter, Sherri Giffin of John Day; nine great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Kavanaugh; daughter, Beverly Swanson; sisters, Hazel Kenney and Dorothy Nettleton; brother Buck Warren; and grandson, Shane Bennett.
