Amber Lynne Randolph, 39, of Haines, Ore., died on August 14, 2014 while at er residence. The family plans to have a memorial celebration for Amber at later date.
Amber has been living in Baker County for the last 11 years.
Amber was born on October 22, 1974 in LaGrande, Ore., to Dennis and Terry (Treadway) Kaneaster. Amber finished high school and had one year of college to her credit. On June 24, 2000, Amber married Joe Randolph at the Clyde Holiday State Park in Mt. Vernon. During the marriage, Amber was able to work as a housewife. She was proud to take part in the Special Olympic program and received a gold medal in many events. She enjoyed participating in track, skiing along with other sports. Many of her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, horseback riding and playing with her dog Wiggles.
Amber is survived by her husband, Joe Randolph of Haines, her mother-in-law Stella Randolph of Haines, a sister-in-law, Eva Randolph of Dayville, Ore., and a sister-in-law, Joanne Flower of Kimberly, Ore.
