ALDRICH, Richard Ray


Richard Ray Aldrich, 54, passed away Oct. 3, 2012 near White Salmon, Wash. He was born Jan. 11, 1958, in Baker City, Ore., to Lynn Chadwick and Robert Ray Aldrich. After high school Richard served in the United States Navy for three years. On Aug. 31, 1994, he married Tonya Murchland in Winnemucca, Nev. Mr. Aldrich worked as a dredger man and superintendent. He loved to hunt, fish and coach his kids sports teams. Richard is survived by his wife, Tonya Aldrich; children, Casey Aldrich, M’Randa Aldrich, Ryan Aldrich and McKenna Aldrich; grandmother, Leorra Chadwick; brothers, Nathen Aldrich, Robert Aldrich, Jr., and Thomas Kinsella; sisters, Teri Aldrich and Kathy Morrison; nieces and nephews, Mariah Aldrich, Jeremy Henry and Kelsey Morrison. He was preceded in death by sister Toni Aldrich, grandfather, George Chadwick and father Robert Aldrich. A funeral service was held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at First Baptist Church in Hood River, Ore. A graveside service was held on Friday, Oct. 12, at Rock Creek Cemetery in Haines, Ore.
