Bill J. Pug Robinson, 72, a lifelong Baker City resident, died Feb. 20, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Health Services after a bout with cancer.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Lutheran Church, 1734 Third St. Pastor Dennis Hickman will officiate. Visitations will be until 8 oclock tonight at Grays West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson was born on May 12, 1928, at Baker City to William and Eva Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was a lifelong Baker City resident and had lived on the family farm for almost 68 years. He married Mary Wessel at Idaho Falls on June 2, 1956. They raised two daughters.
Mr. Robinson had an extensive collection of Caterpillar and farm equipment. He showed his collection each year for the past 21 years during the Baker Antique Equipment Show at his Power of the Past museum.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Robinson of Baker City; daughters and sons-in-law, Eva and Rusty Truscott of Davenport, Wash., and Mary and Martin Neske of Haines; his adopted daughter and her husband, Vivian and Tommy Tucker of John Day; and grandchildren, Daniel, Jason and Jennifer Shumway, Tyrel Truscott and Pamela and Casey Neske.
