Nancy de Rossett Baker City, 1933-2014 Nancy Ann de Rossett, 80, of Baker City, died March 3, 2014, at her home after an extended illness. Burial will be scheduled later at Hopewell. Nancy was born on Dec. 28, 1933, in Martinez, Calif., to Fred Lea and Jean Nash Lea. Nancy met and married Armand de Rosset and enjoyed being a homemaker. Nancy was an avid gardener, quilter and cook. She also rode endurance horses and she and her husband took in foster children. Nancy won awards for her hand quilting, bread baking and riding. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Armand de Rosset, and their three children, Cynthia Davis of Baker City, Fred de Rosset of Yamhill and Margaret Craig of Summerville; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
