George Glen
HUNTINGTON – George Glen Gill, 60, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died March 4 at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho.
A memorial service was held March 16 in the VFW Hall in Huntington, with his brother-in-law, the Rev. Glen Weigel of Noble, Okla., officiating.

Mr. Gill was born Aug. 24, 1952, in Fall River Mills, Calif., to Orben and Julie Gill. His father was a farmer and lumberjack, providing his son with the privilege of being a farm boy in Oklahoma and a logger in Oregon.
He also lived and worked in Arizona and Washington.
His real joy in life was family, hunting, fishing, and storytelling, Thanks to the efforts of his younger brother, Paul, he was afforded fishing and hunting trips, including a successful 2012 deer-and-elk season, as well as trips to Oklahoma to visit their brother, sister and friends.
Survivors include five children, three grandchildren, four brothers, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister-in-law, three brothers and two nieces.
