LOONEY, Ronald

bluemountaineagle.com 26 Feb 2013 HINES – Ronald Looney, 67, formerly of Prairie City, died Feb. 17 at his Hines home. Funeral services were Feb. 22 at the Nazarene Church in Hines. Mr. Looney was born Sept. 5, 1945, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Walter Carl Looney and Bonita Isabelle Goebel Looney. He grew up in the Dixie area; Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, and then Prairie City, where he was on the city fire department during high school. Memorial donations may be made to LaFollette’s Chapel, 332 W. Monroe St., P.O. Box 488, Burns, OR 97720, or to his daughter, Kelli Beers, P.O. Box 1466, Hines, OR 97738. A full obituary will be in next week’s Eagle.
