The Record-Courier 3 Sep 2012 Karen Jean Tibbs died Aug. 1, 2012 at the hospital in Bremerton, Wash. At her request, there will be no service. She was born Jan. 30, 1944, to Charley and Mildred “Babe” Whiteley at Robinette, Ore. She attended school at Robinette and Richland, Ore. She married Eugene Curtis Tibbs in June of 1965. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Porter of Silverdale, Wash.; two step sons, Jamie and Edward; five grandchildren; a sister, Charlene Immoos of Richland, Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Curtis, and a brother, Vernon.
