BULLARD, Ross Lee


The Record-Courier 14 Jan 2013 Ross Lee Bullard, 82, of Baker City passed away Dec. 6, 2012, at Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande. His memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at McEwen Bible Fellowship with Pastor Dan Martin officiating. Ross was born on Sept. 8, 1930, in Graham, Texas to Walter and Attie (Pillinder) Bullard. He spent two years in the US Army leaving as a corporal. Ross worked most of his life as a cowboy doing day work at different ranches. He also worked for the Texas Parks and Wildlife rescuing and relocating bighorn sheep for 12 years. On Dec. 8, 2005, Ross married Mary Thomas in Baker City, Ore. His hobbies included family, horses, woodworking and dancing. He was very active in the Haines Rodeo Association where he carried the American flag for rodeos. He attended McEwen Bible Fellowship. Ross is survived by his wife, Mary Bullard of Baker City, Ore.; daughters, Annette Bates and LuAnne Brummett of Baker City, Ore.; sons, Dan Bullard of North Powder, Ore.; Travis Bullard of Union, Ore., Tim Bullard of Union, Ore., Joe Bullard of Baker City, Ore., and Charles Brummett of Fairbanks, Alaska; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Ross was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Betty Bullard.
