GREEAR, Elwood A.

bluemountaineagle.com 14 August 2012 Elwood A. Greear, 96, of John Day, died July 31 at his daughter’s home in Caldwell, Idaho. Services will be held at a later date, interment pending. Mr. Greear was born May 25, 1916, in Austin. Survivors include his daughters, Rosalie Gisler of Caldwell and Billie J. Cary of Prairie City; and son, Mike Greear of Prairie City. He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Leola Greear in 2011, and his son, Richard S. “Dick” Greear in 1998.
