bluemountaineagle.com 21 Dec 2012 Ronald Robinson, 70, of Prairie City, died Dec. 12, at Blue Mountain Nursing Home. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Mr. Robinson was born March 31, 1942, in Springfield, Mo., to Eli “Robbie” and Jessie (Ruble) Robinson. In 1959, he graduated from Grant Union High School. HOUSE: OnlyAg.com in-article For 25 years, he worked at Chester’s Thriftway in John Day. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, playing cards, and visiting with family and friends. He mostly enjoyed his time working for Frank Chester. He and his parents worked at Chester’s for a combination of almost 75 years. Survivors include his sisters, Sharon Lewis of California, Linda Wilhite of Eugene and Mary Michael of John Day.
