bluemountaineagle.com 11 Dec 2012 Emiline Wright, 88, died Nov. 21 at Blue Mountain Nursing Home in Prairie City, surrounded by family and friends. A private service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Wright was born Jan. 16, 1924, to Charlie and Frances Zemmer. She graduated from Baker High School. In 1946, she married Guy L. Wright in Baker City. For 27 years she worked as a certified nursing assistant for Blue Mountain Nursing Home. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, bowling, knitting, camping and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Ron Wright and Gary (Diane) Wright of Prairie City; grandsons, Kip Wright of Boise, Idaho, Kelsy (Shanna) Wright of John Day and Jeff (Nernani) Wright of Boise, Idaho; and grandchildren, Dustin, Hailie, Kaylee, Eli, Tucker and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Wright. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carrie Young Memorial, Blue Mountain Nursing Home or Blue Mountain Hospice through Driskill Memorial Chapel, 241 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, OR 97845.
