bluemountaineagle.com 20 November 2012 Celia Eleanora Lenz, 98, died Nov. 12 at Blue Mountain Nursing Home in Prairie City. A private service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Lenz was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Chimney Rock, Wis., to Cornelius and Elene Knudtson. On August 18, 1944, she married Charles Lenz in Eau Claire, Wisc. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends also loved the great outdoors. Survivors include sons Irvin (Lillian) Olson of Prineville, Jim (Carol) Lenz of Boise, Idaho, and Duane Lenz of Baker City; daughters Bonnie (Charles) Neuber of Klamath Falls and Trudy (Carlton) Judd of Alsea; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lenz; daughters Elaine Schlappi and Lorraine Griffith; son Gary Lenz; four brothers; and one sister. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Mountain Nursing Home through Driskill Memorial Chapel, 241 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, OR 97845.
