Sudden Death of J. A. Edwards The Sumpter miner, May 30, 1900 J. A. Edwards, proprietor of the butcher shop on Mill street, opposite Basche's hardware house, died rather suddenly Sunday evening at the Clifton house, of heart trouble and rheumatisms. His wife, who lived at Union, came up Monday and his remains were prepared for shipment by Case & co., and were taken home by the widow.
