Death from Heart Failure The Sumpter miner, March 14, 1900 L. R. Mayne, who came here from Salt Lake about ten days ago, to secure mining property upon which to organize a company, was taken suddenly ill at his rooms in the Healy building Friday of last week, and after the short time of about forty eight hours expired, from what was pronounced heart disease by the physicians. His remains were taken in charge by Case & Co., and his wife telegraphed to in SaltLake, as well as a brother in Arizon, Upon advices received from them, the body was embalmed and shipped to his home for burial.
