WACKFORD, William

William Wackford, a miner forty-two years of age, employed at the Columbia mine, was taken sick with appendicitis Christmas day and died New Year's day. The body was brought to Case's undertaking parlors and the funeral services held here yesterday, conducted by Rev. Mr. Shannon, the body being interred in the Sumpter cemetery.
