Ruth Lambert
Mrs. Lambert was born May 18, 1920 in Richland, Or., the daughter of Walter E. Cundiff and Ellen S. Boyles. She was raised, educated and spent her early life in Eagle Valley. In 1938 Ruth moved to Salem where she lived until her death on Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992.
She served as an American Red Cross volunteer for several years and she was a foster parent for 17 infants.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara J. Johnson of Keizer; son, Jerry P. Lambert of Elkhorn, Neb.; sister, Alice Sass of Richland; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lambert were held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 1992 at the Eagle Valley Cemetery in Richland. Arrangements are by Gray's West and Co. Pioneer Chapel.

Memorial services were held for Ruth Lambert in Salem before graveside services held here March 2. Family who came here for services included Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lambert and two sons of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Castronova, Mrs. Jim (Heather) Church, Christopher Lambert, Barbara Johnson and her daughter, Ellen Marie Johnson of Salem. They had a good visit with Alice and Herman Sass before returning to their respective homes.
